Not as easy as it sounds!
I'm currently in the process of packing for 6 months in Helsinki, Finland. My chunky new black and purple suitcase stands next to me overflowing with jackets, jeans, t-shirts, hats and bed sheets. Leaving behind the luxury of having 6 guitars to choose from and having a wardrobe that at this stage must contain enough t-shirts to clothe a small nation. To narrow it down to 20kgs of stuff that defines me.
Deep.
What makes it more difficult is the memories associated with every item, reminding me why I'm going to miss this country, the t-shirts I wore performing shows, the sunglasses I wore on those days in the park with friends...
Then putting them in the suitcase reminds me of the memories yet to come, the adventure!
Leaving me with the amazing feeling somewhere halfway between super excited and upset.
